INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

What does it mean to be a member?

There is a need for united effort in giving the Truth to the world. All are responsible to God alone for the faith that is within them, excluding doctrines, creeds, or dogma. Becoming a DSFI Member expresses an interest in the work of this organization and a willingness to support that work in every way that the spirit directs. UNITY WITHIN IS SHOWN FORTH BY OUTWARD COOPERATION.

Through DSFI membership, an individual is supporting the mission of an organization that spreads Truth and serves those of like minds throughout the world. An individual member finds these as some of the benefits:

  1. • discounts on DSFI publications
  2. • DSFI Spirit in Action newsletter
  3. • DSFI Book Club
  4. • DSFI Biennial Conference

There are supporting levels available, or any amount that is comfortable to give is most appreciated.
The General Membership has no set fee. The Supporting Membership starts at $100. The Sustaining Membership starts at $250. The Life Membership begins at $1,000.

ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIP

What does it mean to be an Organizational member?

There is a need for united effort in giving the Truth to the world. All are responsible to God alone for the faith that is within them, excluding doctrines, creeds, or dogma. Becoming a DSFI Member expresses an interest in the work of this organization and a willingness to support that work in every way that the spirit directs. UNITY WITHIN IS SHOWN FORTH BY OUTWARD COOPERATION.

Through DSFI membership a Divine Science church, center, association, school, or study group becomes part of an international spiritual organization, involved in its governance and supporting its mission.

In turn, DSFI pledges to strengthen and unify all organizational members by

  1. • offering a central headquarters to respond to all inquiries, process orders of Divine Science publications, maintain inventory and archives, and keep records
  2. • maintaining a presence as an international spiritual organization through its website (DivineScienceFederation.org) and its office headquarters in Rutland, Vermont
  3. • providing assistance, cooperation and support for Divine Science education, including publishing DSFI material, issuing the Spirit in Action newsletter, and organizing the DSFI Book Club
  4. • responding to requests for prayer support
  5. • licensing ministers and practitioners to serve Divine Science churches, centers, and study groups
  6. • hosting a DSFI Biennial Conference to tend to organizational details, provide opportunities for education, and build deeper community
